History of the PAOC Statement of Faith

The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) is in a process of reviewing and refreshing its Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths (SOFET). You can find a copy of the most recent, 2014, statement here.

COVER Gabriel, History of the SOFET (Spring 2017 Enrich)The PAOC’s SOFET has seen many changes. Some of these changes reflect reaffirmations of previous beliefs, while some reflect changing beliefs in the PAOC. This short article outlines a brief history of the PAOC’s SOFET. It appeared in the Spring 2017 issue of Enrich: The Leadership Magazine of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

    Much has changed since Azusa yet the trend continues to be sentimental with borrowed name. When gathered The Body cannot function. Only one member does. Following closely after the decrees of Pope Leo I and Charlemagne. Thoughts of being biblical in doctrine but not in “the commandments of the Lord” practise.
