Courses

For my day job, I’m a theology professor at Horizon College and Seminary, which is an affiliated college of the University of Saskatchewan (UofS).

Through Horizon I offer courses on the Holy Spirit, Pentecostal History, Pentecostal Theology, and other topics at both the undergraduate (college) and graduate (seminary) level. You can learn about all of the courses I teach on my faculty profile page.

Horizon distance education courses can be taken:

  • through live-stream (you participate in an on-campus course at scheduled times).
  • through video-on-demand (you engage course material on your own schedule).
  • through directed studies (courses that consist primarily of written assignments).
I just want to say that the class was amazing. Everything we learned in the class was a blessing to me.Anonymous Student in a Course Evaluation

You can audit one of my courses online for only CAN$205 (~US$165). Auditing means you get access to all of the course content, but you do NOT have to complete any of the assignments or read the course textbooks. (You can audit a course on-campus for only $100.)

You can also take my courses for full credit. Click on the links to learn about undergraduate tuition or graduate (seminary) tuition.

Since Horizon is an accredited institution, you can transfer course credit to any Christian school and some public universities. For example, we have a number of courses pre-approved for transfer to the UofS.

For more information, contact Horizon’s registrar.

Once a year I get dressed up in my academic regalia for our convocation ceremony. My children think I look pretty funny. Some people think I look like I’m right out of the middle ages.
